We had a two week break at my new job so we took the chance to head up to Junee for a get away. Junee is well known historically as the main railway between Sydney and Melbourne run past and a Roundhouse/Repairs workshop was built here to service the trains, and the region
We stayed at the Junee Caravan Park which we found to be very clean and quiet with our site backing on to a peaceful lake. The lake was a godsend during the VERY hot afternoons.
We didn't actually do much whilst here other than relax, visit Wagga Wagga and indulge at the local Chocolate and Liquorice factory.
The only other activity we managed to get in was some fossicking for Tourmaline in Quartz at Grenfell
